soup's on!

When Anna Thomas published her first cookbook, The Vegetarian Epicure, in 1975, it was a sensation--in part because it occupied space that had up that point been relatively undiscovered territory. Now, over 20 years later she's got a new cookbook out on soup and the Boston Globe interviewed her to find out how a woman raised in a meat-eating Polish family found herself a vegetarian cuisine trailblazer.
